Anthony Waechter, MD
Board Certified Physician

Dr. Anthony Waechter specializes in a full range of aesthetic medical services including: injectables, and dermal fillers, as well as the most sophisticated laser procedures encompassing: non-surgical skin tightening and resurfacing, photofacial, and laser vein and hair removal. He gives every patient personalized attention, and his expertise in anti-aging procedures ensures that patients are provided with advanced skin care solutions to treat their specific needs.

Dr. Waechter is a residency trained, board certified emergency medicine physician and he brings to his practice eight years of clinical experience. His diverse background and comprehensive aesthetic knowledge proves his commitment to patients embarking on a skin rejuvenation program. Under Dr. Waechter's medical care, patients enhance the health of their skin, as well as achieve a more youthful appearance.

Dr. Waechter attended the University of Colorado for his undergraduate education, obtained his Medical Degree at the Chicago Medical School - Finch University of Health Sciences, Interned at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and attended Residency at the highly regarded Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

Heidi Keesis, MPA, PA-C
Physician Assistant

Heidi Keesis began her career in aesthetic medicine after completing her Master's Degree as a Physician Assistant at Samuel Merritt College. Heidi has extensive experience with multiple laser platforms as well as cosmetic injectables and dermal fillers. She loves to educate and help patients feel more confident about themselves.

Heidi joined the team at Aura Skin Spa in February 2010. She performs laser hair removal, Intense Pulsed Light, Fraxel skin resurfacing, Titan skin tightening, Laser Genesis, cosmetic injections and a variety of other aesthetic procedures.

Catherine Matley RN, BSN, PHN
Aesthetic Nurse Specialist

Catherine graduated in 1990 with distinction from San Jose State University with a Bachelor in Nursing. She has extensive experience providing aesthetic laser treatments and cosmetic injections. Catherine's joy is working with her patients for excellent results. Catherine gained her expertise in aesthetic nursing while working with prominent dermatologists Dr. Rick Noodleman and Dr. Bruce Saal.

Catherine joined the team at Aura Skin Spa in March 2009. She performs laser hair removal, Intense Pulsed Light™, Fraxel® skin resurfacing, cosmetic injections and a variety of other aesthetic treatments. Catherine is known for her compassion and gentle touch giving her patient's a positive treatment experience.

Marti Gaffney, RN, MSN
Aesthetic Nurse Specialist

Marti Gaffney graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from University of California at Santa Barbara. She then went on to acquire a Master's in Nursing from San Francisco State University where she specialized in Pediatric/Neonatal clinical care. Marti began her career in aesthetic nursing at the San Francisco Laser Clinic. She educated patients on skin care and performed laser hair removal and IPL treatments. She furthered her aesthetic career by working with a prominent medical spa in San Francisco consulting with patients on how to reach their skin care goals, educating patients on physician grade products, and performing laser treatments including laser hair removal and IPL.

Marti joined the team at Aura Skin Spa in April 2009 where she consults with patients on their skin care goals and performs cosmetic laser treatments such as laser hair removal, IPL, Laser Genesis™ and skin tightening procedures.

Andrea Head
Aesthetician

Andrea received her esthetics certification in September of 1996. Since that time she has trained and worked at prominent destination resort spas, laser centers and dermatology offices. She has continued to pursue excellence in education in both the skincare industry and in health and wellness.

Her areas of practice include facial aesthetics, Microdermabrasion and chemical peels. She is certified in both facial aesthetics and massage therapy.

Andrea joined the team at Aura Skin Spa in November 2009 where she works with patients to help them achieve their skin care goals.

Susan Perry
Aesthetician

Originally from England, Susan completed her training in Applied Aesthetics and Physiatrics in London. She has been working as an aesthetician since 1993. Throughout her career, Susan Perry has been dedicated to continuing education and has attended many advanced training schools and seminars. She is devoted to exploring the latest, most advanced skin care techniques and products available, eagerly integrating the most effective and promising of these into the practice.

Susan Perry is an active member of Associated Skin Care Professionals, a prestigious organization that is committed to excellence. She has extensive experience in the latest products and technologies, including microdermabrasion, alphahydroxy peels, beta hydroxy peels and acne treatments.

Larry Goppert & Claudia Cardinalle
Marketing and Operations

Larry Goppert and Claudia Cardinalle started their career in the medical spa industry in 2001 at Aneu, Professional Skin and Laser Center. At Aneu, they help to build and manage a very successful medical spa in San Francisco. In 2006, Larry and Claudia joined Aura Skin Spa.

As pioneers in the medical spa industry, they both bring with them nearly 20 years of combined experience. Their approach is simple - to provide their clients with synergistic skin care treatments that combine medical technology and science with advanced skin care techniques to restore and maintain the natural beauty and aura of your skin.
