What Can I Expect After Liposonix Treatment?
Because Liposonix is completed in a minimally-invasive manner, it does not require recovery and downtime as traditional plastic surgeries can. Liposonix can result in some mild bruising and sensitivity in the areas in which it was performed, but this will often subside and resolve over the course of one to two weeks. While results are seen within a week or two of treatment, full results are achieved over several months as the disrupted fat cells are metabolized into the body and flushed through the lymphatic system. Patients may choose to have additional treatments performed three months after the first for more dramatic results, though this can be discussed at a patient’s follow-up appointment.
